Some of you may know that I am a huge fan of The Vlog Brothers. They have a few side shows for our amusement; Crash Course (which covers both biology and history) and Sci Show (which covers everything else). They produce several fantastic shows a week, and this one was particularly awesome for introductory ecology. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. (Pun may have been intended >.>)
Rhianna is a wildlife ecologist who is currently in the final year of an Environmental Sciences degree. She has a keen focus on living a sustainable, ethical lifestyle which is reflected in all aspects of her life.
Of herself, Rhianna says: "I am a happily married 40 something mother of two. I have dark hair, olive skin, and brown eyes. The rest is subject to change without notice."
Hi Rhianna…I don’t know if you subscribe to “Chocolate and Zucchini” (one of my closet food blogs…don’t tell anyone ) but I thought that this article (in French… if you can’t read French you might want to use Google Translate) might be right up your alley. Vending machines for organic fresh produce! Whatever next?
I didn’t know you had a food blog! Come to think of it, I haven’t had a post in my feed from your main blog for ages either. How do I find your food blog? (Also, so many mixed feelings about the vending machine; from “yeah, right on!” to “has it really come to this?”).
Nope…don’t have a food blog but Chocolate and Zucchini is a French blog, great food and gluten free. That’s where I found the article. I post twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday nights) so if you are not getting them you might have to hit “Follow” again Same here about the vending machine organic veggies…how long would they stay fresh?! Might be good in a train/bus/subway station for people to grab on the run on the way home? At least its a healthier choice than take away garbage I guess
Its good to have a choice! We don’t have any vending machine apart from a sad old dead one at Exeter on the way home that “sometimes” allows you to pay for a drink…most of the time it is cactus…

“Fundamental Wholefoods” have a vending machine at uni. I <3 getting their products instead of smiths chips!

I’ve just re-added it to my feed. Strange.
You may live to regret that…lol
